Behind the Universe, Kamila Csenge´s debut Jazz Fusion album is going o be released in the 22.05.26. It is an exploration of what lies beyond the visible, beyond the known, and beyond the limits of fear and pain. Two guitars, bass and drums undertake a journey beyond the stars, beyond time and space. The music travels into infinite expanses where the familiar dissolves and the impossible becomes possible.

Born in Čeladná, Czech Republic, Kamila Csenge began her musical journey after graduating from high school in Nový Jičín. She went on to study acoustic guitar at the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory in Prague, where she focused on classical and Latin music under the guidance of Vilém Matausch, Milan Tesař, and Jaromíra Ježková. She later continued at the same conservatory in a professional diploma program in electric guitar, specializing in jazz with Lubomír Kocvara.

In addition to her primary studies, she pursued rock guitar lessons with Petr Bierhanzel, voice training with Eduard Klezla, and piano studies with Zuzana Nováková, developing a broad and versatile musical foundation.

In 2017, she graduated with highest honors from Berklee College of Music in Boston, majoring in Guitar Performance. During her time at Berklee, she studied with renowned faculty including Jon Damian, Rick Peckham, Freddie Bryant, Jon Wheatley, Salvatore DiFusco, Bret Willmott, John Baboian, Kimberley Perlak, and David Tronzo. She earned placement on the Dean’s List every semester and received the John LaPorta Award for outstanding achievement in Guitar Performance.

She has performed extensively in ensembles ranging from duos and trios to full bands, appearing in respected concert halls and jazz venues across New York, Boston, Berlin, and the Czech Republic. Notable venues and events include Williamsburg Music Center, Shrine, ShapeShifter Lab, Hybernia Theatre, the New England Guitar Festival, the International Festival of Concert Melodrama, Ryles Jazz Club, and the Prague Congress Center.

Her media appearances include performances for the live TV program Terra Musika in Prague, Bohemian TV, and a recorded musical advertisement for the magazine Reflex. From October 2014 to February 2015, she worked as a guitarist aboard the TUI Cruises vessel Mein Schiff 2.
